Parajumpers is an Italian-born luxury outerwear label founded in 2006. Inspired by the real-life Parajumpers of Anchorage, Alaska, the collections are made of innovative and durable materials with extra down filling for Autumn-Winter and lightweight breathable nylon for Spring and Summer. Every garment contains the signature Parajumpers details: from the logo patch with the “That Others May Live” motto; to the yellow parachute-hook-in- spired elastic collar strap. A rescue service as a source of inspiration
Anchorage, Alaska is home to the "210th Rescue Squadron," which specializes in conducting rescue operations and extreme recoveries from the most climatically harsh and remote corners of the globe. Whether it's downed ships, distressed climbers at 4,000 meters or sunken submarines, these men are trained to handle any situation imaginable. Called PJs, these men are short for Parajumpers. One member of this organization served as the inspiration for an entire outerwear collection that is now known worldwide. Massimo Rosetti, a fashion designer, pioneer and importer of American brands for the Italian market founded the label Parajumpers in 2009 after his encounter with a "210th Rescue Squadron" member. High-tech elements combined with fashionable components resulted in a collection that is both functional and stylish.

The jackets and coats from Parajumpers are made of extremely robust nylon and are equipped with a warming fur trim on the hood.
