Leather fashion from tradition
In 1880, Christoph Spieth founded a seed tannery, which was to become the foundation stone for the traditional house. 30 years later, the company was bought by Karl Spieth, the great-grandfather of today's partner Hartmut Spieth, and entered in the commercial register as the tannery and leather glove factory Spieth & Wensky. In the course of time, leather gloves and leather clothing were added to the product range. The traditional company quickly became well known due to its renowned tannery. With the first collection of traditional costumes in 1984, the first milestone in the history of the house was set. From then on, new, fresh accents and a modern signature are characteristic of all subsequent traditional costume collections. The innovative designs are modern and convince through the use of materials of the highest quality. Filigree embroidery and lush prints bring a fresh touch to the designs. Fashion by Spieth & Wensky is offered for women, men and also children. The interplay of classic styles with modern designs is the hallmark of each collection.
